We recognise that children may require additional support at different times throughout their educational journey and strive to identify needs as early as possible. Through high-quality teaching, careful assessment, and close collaboration with families, we ensure that support is tailored to each child’s individual strengths and needs.

Our graduated approach follows the Assess, Plan, Do, Review cycle, enabling us to monitor progress carefully and adapt provision when required. A range of support may be available, including classroom adaptations, targeted interventions, specialist resources, and guidance from external professionals. We work closely with staff, parents and carers to ensure that children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) have access to a broad, balanced and ambitious curriculum alongside their peers.

Partnership with families is central to our SEND provision. We believe that parents and carers play a vital role in helping children succeed and we value open communication and collaborative working. Regular reviews, shared targets and ongoing dialogue ensure that everyone involved has a clear understanding of the support being provided and the progress being made. Together, we aim to promote independence, confidence, wellbeing and positive outcomes for every child.
